Commenting on the suspension of negotiations earlier today at the UNclimate summit, Jenny Willott, Welsh Liberal Democrat MP for CardiffCentral, said:
"The walkout shows that tempers are running high and the negotiationsare balancing on a knife edge. But we cannot afford to allow these talksto fail. "Politicians must remember that the cost of putting off action now willbe a much higher price to pay in the future.
"The UK and other countries responsible for most of the world'semissions have to lead the way in getting these talks back on track anddrive forward a new global climate deal."
