Commenting on the unanimous decision taken by the National Assembly to pass the Order that sets out the date of the referendum, Kirsty Williams, Leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats said:
"As a Welsh Liberal Democrat, I am proud to be part of a Party that is delivering its 100 year old commitment to devolve real power from Westminster to the Welsh people.
"The Welsh Liberal Democrats will play our part, working cooperatively and constructively, with progressives in all parties to secure a 'yes' vote that ensures for the first time that laws that affect only Wales are made only in Wales."
