Montgomeryshire Volunteer & Infrastructure Building Organiser

2013 Tachwedd 29 2:06 PM

Salary: £16,000-£18,000 (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic and enthusiastic person to take on the role of Campaigns Organiser for Montgomeryshire Liberal Democrats. Montgomeryshire is a strategic seat for 2015, and has a strong Liberal history, electing a Liberal or Liberal Democrat MP from 1880-1979 and 1983-2010.

After a period of training and development you will become the lynch pin of the Campaign Team. You will oversee the day to day workings of the campaigns office. You will organise volunteers and campaigners across the constituency to help develop infrastructure and support capacity building activities. This will include increasing and developing our membership and activist base, building delivery networks and developing the use of Connect.

Good organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience of campaign organisation and using Connect would be an advantage.

Some evening and weekend work will be required.
